How to Activate Your Pre-filled Vape

Following recent regulatory updates, all Pre-filled Vape Devices must now feature an auto-lock function that automatically deactivates the device within ten minutes of your last puff. To reactivate the device, users must perform a series of simultaneous or sequential actions.
With a wide variation of activation methods present across these NZ compliant devices, it can sometimes be confusing learning how to activate your new Pre-filled Vape Kit, so we've complied a handy guide of clear instructions on how to activate your device below;
Product | How to Activate |
Allo Nexus | To activate the Allo Nexus, simply press the circular firing button 5 times in quick succession. Once the LED indicator glows green, the device is ready for vaping. |
Bud | To activate the Bud, simply tap the Bud Logo at the bottom-edge of the device five times in quick succession. When the circular LED around the Bud Logo lights up, your device is ready for vaping. |
Cloudys Maxxpod | To activate the Cloudys Maxxpod, simply press the circular button at the base of the device 5 times in quick succession. Once the white LED begins to glow, you may begin vaping. |
DRAGBAR ICZ MAX | To activate the DRAGBAR ICZ MAX, simply press the button along the side of the device five times in quick succession. |
Flux | To activate the Flux, simply press the button at the base of the device five times in quick succession. |
IGET Bar Plus | To activate the IGET Bar Plus, simply press the button at the base of the device five times in quick succession. |
Inmood Switch 5K |
There are two models of Switch 5K, each with different activation methods. |
Inmood Switch 10K |
To activate the Inmood Switch 10K, simply tap the charging port at the base of the device five times in quick succession. You may need to remove the protective-seal from the base of the pod. |
Nasty 6000 |
To activate the Nasty 6000, simply insert the pre-filled pod into the device three times in quick succession. An LED indicator at the base will flash, showing your device is ready to vape. |
Pocket Rocket |
To activate the Pocket Rocket, simply puff from the mouthpiece five times in quick succession, then wait 2 seconds. |
puk. |
To activate the puk., simply insert the Vortéke pre-filled pod into the device three times in quick succession. |
Reckless |
To activate the Reckless, simply puff from the mouthpiece five times in quick succession, then wait 2 seconds. |
Slim 6000 |
To activate the Slim 6000, simply insert the pre-filled pod into the device three times in quick succession. After 1 second, an LED indicator will blink and your device is ready to vape. |
Solo MAX | To activate the Solo MAX, simply press the button at the base of the device five times in quick succession. |
TILT |
To activate the TILT, simply tilt the pod away from the device five times in quick succession. The best way to achieve this is to hold the device with the mouthpiece facing away from you and push the pod up with your thumb. |
Wotofo NexPOD |
To activate the NexPOD, simply press the button at the base of the device five times in quick succession. |
Is your Pre-filled Device still not working?
Aside from activating your pre-filled device, there may be another issue causing your device to not function. Regardless of your device type, we recommend the following troubleshooting tips to activate your device;
- Check that all packaging has been removed from the device and pod. This includes stickers and silicone plugs.
- In most cases, your pre-filled pod will have a sticker/seal at the base of the pod which needs to be removed prior to use.
- Some pods are harder to remove than others; a simple push/pull of the pod should help it come loose.
- Ensure your device is charged - in some cases, new Pre-filled Kits may not come fully charged. Please refer to your instruction manual for correct charging instructions.
- If you have tried all of the above; it is possible you may need a new replacement pod.
